WATKINS GLEN TRIP

            According to Webster’s, success is a favorable or prosperous course.  Our trip to the Glen was all that and more.  In order for it to be as successful as it was it took planning and cooperation.  As for Little Dave and I, the planning was a blast, but the success came when we got to the Glen and everyone chipped in and made it a weekend we will remember.  I thank you all for your input and help with the trip.  I thank Mike and Phyllis for the cake, it was a hit.  Spoonie & Forkie for the cheese and ring bologna, Donnie & Lucille for the side trip on the way home, Kenny & Sandy for leaving parts of their bike along the way so that we could find our way home, Terry & Nancy for being the tail gunner that kept us together, Brownie & Pat for making sure we did what we said we were going to do, Butch & Bev for snacks and making sure everyone got some, Chris & George for remembering a good winery that helped with all our sex lives, and Mark & Stacey for showing us how it used to be.  Most of all, Mother Nature played a big part in our weekend, and she showed us favorable conditions.  Dave, Gena, Doris and I talked over this vacation many times before we left and everything worked out as planned.  We had a great time with our friends and they all showed us appreciation for the trip.  Everybody said thanks for the trip, but Dave and I would also like to say thanks to all of you for making it the success that it was.
