AFTER THE MEETING

As you know, our meetings are held at the Lancaster Airport.  Did you ever see a helicopter take off in extremely high winds?!!  After May’s meeting we watched in awe as one did — must have been some sort of test, but this pilot passed!

It was a nice day and we were itching for a ride — even though keeping the cycle upright was definitely a chore.  The decision was made to head for Gifford Pinchot State Park and off we went.  Leaning into the wind became interesting when the wind decided to stop — but it didn’t do that very often!
