After our meeting at L. C. Jordan’s we all took our nice clean bikes over to the Oak Leaf Manor retirement village. Dawn, one of our newer member, is the Activity Director there. Dawn was made for that job; she can really get them going. Blaine went inside to tell them we were there, and the first person that Dawn brought out was a lady that she introduced as being 102. I then pushed her out around the motorcycles. It took some a little longer to get out than others, but it was a beautiful day and everyone had a look at the bikes for about 1-1/2 hours. One lady really wanted a ride - she asked everyone; it may have been nice however, she was already riding on a vehicle. “Ken with his wit”, a lady thought he was selling raffle tickets for the bikes and she had her money out to buy one. Bless their hearts, they enjoyed us and we all enjoyed them. Some of us then went on a tour of their facility and they live in a beautiful facility. Thanks Dawn for setting that up for us all to share. Everyone should have that opportunity. We won’t share this with everybody, but one lady expressed the fact that Ron had the nicest bike there.
