CHUBBIES RIDE

CHUBBIES RIDE

Illinois Chapter ā€œGā€

October 5, 2003:  This was the day we decided to introduce the group to the culinary miracle known as a Chubby Burger.  Chubbies is a pizza and burger joint in Racine, WI, that is famous in this area for their 1-pound burgers.  This ride was organized by Jeff & Teresa Pilcher.  We started at the Citgo station at the corner of Wilmot Rd. and Highway 173 in Spring Grove, IL.  There were 14 motorcycles and 19 people on this ride

The predetermined route was a leisurely ride through farm fields, forest preserves and along winding rivers.  We also rode through some nice neighborhoods in Racine and Kenosha as we took in the sites along the shores of Lake Michigan.  We traveled about 90 miles with our planned lunch break occurring just about in the middle of the ride.
