SOUP CONTEST AND LATE NOVEMBER RIDE

            So, who makes the best soup in the club?  It was a tough job but everyone tasted and then tasted again and the winner was Denny Pugh’s Clam Chowder.  The big event took place on Saturday, November 22^nd at the Kettering’s house.  Penny had salad, really yummy bread and great desserts to compliment the soup entries and everyone had a great time sampling everything.  One adventurous member even decided to mix ALL of the soups together to create another entry!

            The weather report for the next day was too nice to pass up, so an impromptu ride was scheduled and Joel and Penny led Ron, Gloria, Ken, Gerry, Clyde & Geanne up to the new Cabelas store.  And of course, there was an ice cream stop involved!  Joel & Penny and Geanne & Clyde made it all the way up to Jim Thorpe before they headed back home.  Great day, nice weather for the end of November too!
