BIKE SHOW INFORMATION

GOLD CLASSIC XXIVRALLY BIKE SHOW INFORMATION

 

 

A list of the Judging Rules and the various Classes that will be used this year during the Gold Classic XXIV Rally’s Bike Show in Macquoketa, IA is provided below.

 

BIKE SHOW GENERAL RULES

 

Ø      All bikes entering the show must be owned and/or registered to a rally participant.

Ø      Cleaning, polishing, etc. may be done any time up to judging time.

Ø      No one will be allowed in the judging area, once the judging has begun, until the judges are finished.

Ø      After the judges are finished, the judging area will be open for general viewing and picture taking.

 

BIKE SHOW JUDGING RULES

 

Ø      Judging will be done by appointed judges.

Ø      Judges will judge each bike in four categories.

1.       Cleanliness of bike

2.       Arrangement/balance of accessories.

3.       Condition of paint and accessories in conjunction with the mileage on the bike.

4.       Overall appearance

Ø      Each judge will give from one (1) to ten (10) points in each of the four categories.

 

 

BIKE SHOW CLASSIFICATIONS FOR 1000cc, 1100cc, AND 1200cc GOLDWINGS

(2 Classes in Each)

 

STOCK CLASS

 

1.       No Paint Alterations

a.       No custom paint.

b.       No murals.

c.       No pinstriping other than to match the factory pinstriping, including accessories.

d.       No pinstriping decals.

 

2.       All After Market Accessories Allowed Except Decals

a.       Chrome

b.       Windshields

c.       After Market Seats

d.       Radios

 

3.       No Alterations of Stock Frame or Body Panels.

 

4.       No Custom Upholstery.

 

CUSTOM CLASS

 

1.       Any Paint Alterations.

a.       Murals.

b.       Custom Paint.

c.       Custom Pinstriping.

d.       Decals.

 

2.       All Accessories Allowed.

 

3.       Alterations of Stock Frame and/or Body Panels Allowed.

 

4.       Custom Upholstery Allowed.

 

 

BIKE SHOW CLASSIFICATIONS FOR 1500cc and 1800cc GOLDWINGS

(4 Classes in each)

 

STOCK CLASS

 

1.       No Paint Alterations

a.       No pinstriping tape or paint.

b.       No pinstriping decals.

c.       No murals.

d.       No custom paint.

 

2.       Any After Market Accessories Allowed

a.       Chrome

b.       Windshields

c.       After Market Seats

d.       Radios

 

3.       No Custom Made Parts or Accessories.

a.       No custom etching.

b.       No custom upholstery.

 

4.       No Alterations of Stock Frame or Body Panels.

 

CUSTOM CLASS

 

1.       Paint Alterations.

a.       All pinstriping allowed.

b.       No Murals.

c.       No paint alterations on body parts other than pinstriping over stock paint.

 

2.       Any After Market Accessories Allowed.

a.       Chrome.

b.       Windshields.

c.       After Market Seats

d.       Radios

 

3.       No Homemade or Custom Design Parts.

 

4.       Custom Seats and Upholstery Not Allowed.

 

DRESS CLASS

 

1.       Any After Market Accessories Allowed.

a.       Chrome

b.       Windshields

c.       After Market Seats

d.       Radios

 

2.       Paint Alterations

a.       No murals

b.       Pinstriping allowed.

c.       Custom paint on body parts allowed.

 

3.       Custom Seats and Upholstery Not Allowed.

 

4.       No Homemade or Custom Design Parts

 

CUSTOM DRESS CLASS

 

1.       Any After Market Accessories Allowed.

a.       Chrome

b.       Windshields

c.       After Market Seats

d.       Radios

 

2.       Custom Seats and Upholstery Allowed.

 

3.       Murals Allowed.

 

4.       Custom Paint and Pinstriping Allowed.

 

5.       Homemade & Custom Design Parts Allowed.

Ø      0 – 999 CC NON-GOLDWING

Ø      1000 CC AND UP NON-GOLDWING

Ø      BIKE & TRAILER

Ø      BIKE & SIDECAR

SPECIAL BIKE SHOW NOTE:  If there are a number of Valykrie’s entered in the Bike Show, then they will be placed in to their own classes.  There would be a “Valykrie Stock” and a “Valykrie Custom” Class, with the differences in Stock and Custom being determined using the same guidelines as those used for the 1000cc, 1100cc and 1200cc Goldwings.
